Last weekend, as I was rushing out of the house to one of my son’s baseball games, I hastily grabbed a tote that I’ve owned for several years. As I piled sunglasses, sunscreen, and an extra sweatshirt into the bag, a happy thought struck me: it’s straw bag season! Just as the smell of Star Jasmine and the sensation of morning fog turning humid with the emergence of the mid-day sun signal spring and summer, so too does the lightweight and organic straw bag.
